During my first years of undergrad, I trained and competed on several competitive programming competitions with two of my friends. As a highlight we:
- Won the Madrid regional phase (sophomore year) of the largest university Competitive Programming contest in Spain (called AdaByron). I was also a national finalist for two consecutive years
In this note, I plan to write some tips that were useful to us when competing in these tournaments. However, most of the theoretical and practical knowledge of the actual problems will be written in Algorithms.
